The Mankon community in the Twin Cities of Minnesota is pleased and proud to announce that the Fon of Mankon, S.A.N. Angwafo III, and his royal entourage arrived safely this afternoon, December 14th, 2007. On hand to welcome them at the airport was an impressive crowd of Mankon people and friends of Mankon all clad in colorful traditional gowns.

The exotic appearance of the welcome delegation coupled with reverential salutations and ululations attracted a huge crowd of stupefied onlookers and admirers at the airport. For a moment, Mankon had total command of the airport and it was not less so when the Fon was driven in a motorcade to the palace for a kingly rest.

At this moment, His royal Highness is being treated to a sumptuous dinner in one of the local Hiltons.
